"Slow frame rates"

submission: MagnetiBall

This game was submitted unplayable. Most of the time this is due solely to the condition of the computer playing the flash but this design you're using, for the engine probably, has to much busy going on. Visually not much is happening so it hardly makes sense when the game pace slows to a crawl.

This game will be playable when and if we all get super rigs tripped out with the latest hardware.

Have a programmer look this over and take the game down in the meantime.

"I gave up"

I felt I was never going to advance beyond the radio being fixed.

I personally don't like your work. I more often than not find it patronizing with it's religious undertones. Those who are are religious (non Protestant) don't talk about their faith in god as much as you do. You obviously are a Protestant and need to talk about it often.

Putting that aside as a puzzle game made by you it sticks the the mold because it continues to uses distorted logic based from your point of view. Things that made sense to me were non optional. An example being that I thought it would be obvious to use the spray can to obscure the mirror as there seemed to be nothing else to do so with. I also thought that if I found alleged drugs somewhere I could distract the attendant and the officer at the same time. I thought maybe I could provide the flask to the attendant, that maybe the attendant being a supposed addict he would also be partial to alcohol. Not optional. Instead I'm stuck in a dead end. I had to stop a number of times to clear my head as the game was getting on my nerves.

Something that's common with your games is an over abundance of multi-sided rooms, difficult to navigate.

Your characters haven't developed in all this time. They're mostly flat and ill proportioned. You use animation techniques that look poor like using an imagine with arms stiff at their sides and then introduce a forearm into the picture and it looks terrible and doesn't work. Many characters just sort of look the same as well.

I dislike the continued usage of the same voice actors every time. To admit early on the male was good but has since been overused. The same goes with the female. I don't know who these people are but they come up so often in your work all it does is connect it to everything else you've done.

I can't be sure but I think you're styling things differently in your spaces. I can't really make a judgment on it now but I've seen others do it. It's all fine and good but again your characters don't mesh with the space they occupy.

For what feels like a frequently western English location the use of Euro English spelling, speech and words tends to stand out. Maybe it would be better to just stick to areas familiar to you rather than guess at what it's like somewhere else.

I don't believe I'll attempt to finish this for a long wile to come.
I would hope you'd run this by some other authors for advice on improving puzzle strength.

Games are for fun. Challenge is secondary. If The challenge is so fucking important then get an office job, answering phones. Real gamers as you describe them are sociopaths.

A nod to retro is a worthy effort. But this isn't retro. It's an imitation of what retro was and what little they could do in the beginning. Not the author, the reviewer or myself were around when gaming was new and when it truly was a great pile of crud. We were brought up on the coat tails of nintendo, and into the 16 bit era.

Lastly, retro was great back then because options were limited and everything was new. Now retro difficulty has no place in modern gaming. It should be remembered but avoided, because it was CRAP. And one more thing. Why would you want newer breeds of gamers to understand your retro roots? Firstly they won't understand it. Secondly they won't appreciate it. Lastly they can't abide it, just as I loath it. Why, because it's Old and Trash!

Culture Clubbing

"This has the ingrediant truth in it"

submission: Culture Clubbing

It's not like they're respecting culture without becoming part of it. Weeaboos. Japan doesn't want them and neither do we.

Why does it make sense to allow my country to change for someone else benefit. Hell even Europe understands the value of their own culture because now it's in danger of being Middle Easted to death. Their wonderful liberal culture is threatened by old world, foreign conservatism.

And author is right. It you can't find fault in the other cultures of the world you have no business being here with us. Patriotism is built on misunderstanding and hatred for others wile touting up your own as the pinnacle, which is encouraged by the government and perfectly healthy. I've never seen Obama asking God to bless any other country but our own. I suggest you try and put down a foreigner every day!

I'd like to add that we have no business sending missionaries to "assist" anyone anywhere. If you can't abide someone else messing with your turf why the fuck are you on theirs?

Now lets see how many of a liberal persuasion argue against my comments. I'll be disappointed in you.

Also, lawl!

... is to little to fill out the the fucking summery box. It's not an editorial. Not everything needs a fucking headline. I'd be happy with just my name, score and comments, newgrounds. Who do I have to go to with my complaints? I'm getting tired of your red tape, newgrounds.

I played this on bubblebox but not here. It worked well even though the site is ad heavy, something that I find is to common lately. I think all these popular flash and entertainment sites have finally given in. What did I say earlier about red tape? How many viewers on here do you think are interested in airwick room fresheners. I'm not. Fuck your ads! Anyway what was I talking about?

Game is fine. I look forward to another. The length of game play should be increased so that each mission isn't a mission in the pursuit of another upgrade. I don't like that sort of game. It doesn't give you a chance to learn how to use what's at your command and they're usually short and usher you to completion as quickly as possible.

10 minutes and waiting.

fail game is fail. Most people aren't playing this game. Most people seem to be doing something else. That is problematic even for a new multiplayer.

Maybe not HOSTING IT HERE on THIS WEBSITE is part of the issue?

...of underage b& dumping 5rs on everything that suits them.

Nowadays anything displayed on the front page has a chance of holding the top 50 for a time. I liked this game. It was good - real good. But seeing at the top of the charts makes me sorry I gave it a 4 a couple days ago. From now on I have to remind myself, "even though I like this submission, does it deserve to sit above all others". The answer is no.

Cleaver game but that all it is, cleaver.
